Athlete YouTube Agreement (For Athletes Under 18)

This agreement is written for you, the athlete.
Please read it with your parent or guardian so you understand what being part of our YouTube series means.

Why Are We Making Videos?

We are creating a YouTube series to:

• Show how amazing cheerleading is at Power Cheer

• Show the talent, hard work, and personality of Team F5

• Do something fun and different in the cheerleading world

• Entertain people with a drama-style series

Some parts of the show are real, and some parts are made more dramatic or scripted to make it exciting to watch.

This means:

• Not everything you see will be exactly how it happened

• Some scenes may be planned or acted

• The show is for entertainment

What Might I Be Filmed Doing?

You might be filmed while:

• Training or practising skills

• Talking on camera (interviews or chats)

• Taking part in group scenes

• Filming story scenes for the show

• Being at competitions or events

Your first name or full name may sometimes be used in the videos.

Being Online & Social Media

YouTube is a public platform. This means:

• Lots of people may watch the videos

• Most comments will be positive

• Some comments might be unkind

Important Rules for Athletes:

• You should never reply to negative comments

• You should tell a coach or trusted adult if anything online upsets you

• You are not expected to read comments

You will never be asked to argue, cause drama, or post things online yourself for the show.

Your Feelings Matter

Your wellbeing is more important than any video.

That means:

• You can say no to filming at any time

• You can ask for a break

• You can choose not to do a scene

• You will not get in trouble for speaking up

If anything makes you feel uncomfortable, worried, or upset:

• Tell a coach

• Tell your parent or guardian

• Support is available inside and outside the gym

A counsellor will be available if you ever need extra support.

Safety & Respect

We promise:

• You will never be filmed in changing rooms or private areas

• Coaches will always supervise filming

• Filming will happen in safe, appropriate spaces

• You will be treated with respect at all times

✔ Your wellbeing always comes first
